  1. i just want you to know that i moved darrel bock a couple years ago. yes, moved his stuff. spoke with him on the phone. had no idea who he was except right after i got his ppwk i read an article in CT mag by him and connected the dots. ha.

  2. I am presently in the middle of reading through Five Views of Law and Gospel, somehwat re-familiarizing myself with the various views that Christian theologians have with the Torah–which is by no means monolithic. While seeing the division of the commandments as being somewhat more organic than just moral, civil, and ceremonial–I do rejoice with those Christians who affirm that too many Believers have been raised in an environment devoid of its instruction, and who recognize that the contempoary Church is suffering as a result.

When this book comes out, it will definitely be a good read! This is an excellent series for becoming familiar with a great number of controversial issues, and is often a safe place where one can present others with differing sides of a debate.

  3. Yes, I like the series as well. I’m currently reading through 5 Views on Sanctification, and was pleasantly surprised by how forthright both the Reformed view and the Wesleyan view were in presenting the Law as requisite in the process of sanctification.
